Why do you want to set a value?

It is the management's responsibility to set the strategy which gives the greatest possible return from the business's rights. A holder of a patent may, for example, choose to license their right, or can choose to exclusively use the patent in their own production. These two strategies create two different values for the same patent, seen from a business perspective.


The purpose of setting a value may either be internal or external.
